CodeMentor Cyprus provides programming mentoring services, including but not limited to one-on-one mentoring sessions, code reviews, career guidance, and technical advice. The specific nature of services provided will be agreed upon between the mentor and the mentee prior to the commencement of services.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our website.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access our website and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Fees and Payment

Our services are provided on a fee basis. Payment terms will be specified at the time of service booking. Prices are subject to change without notice.

All payments are non-refundable except as expressly set forth in our refund policy or as required by applicable law.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Mentoring sessions may be rescheduled or canceled subject to the following conditions:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made 24 hours or more before the scheduled session time will not incur any penalties.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session time may result in full charge for the session.
  • No-shows for scheduled sessions will result in full charge for the session.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.

6. User Conduct

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Be respectful and professional during all mentoring sessions;
  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your skills, experience, and learning goals;
  • Actively participate in mentoring sessions and complete agreed-upon assignments or tasks;
  • Not use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose;
  • Not transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code;
  • Not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others;
  • Not harass, abuse, or harm another person or entity;
  • Not interfere with or disrupt our services or servers or networks connected to our services.

7. Intellectual Property

Our website and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CodeMentor Cyprus and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

During mentoring sessions, you may create content, code, or other materials. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you retain ownership of your original work, and you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and copy such content in connection with providing our services to you.

8. Disclaimer

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

We do not guarantee that the use of our services will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor do we guarantee specific outcomes or results from using our mentoring services.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CodeMentor Cyprus, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using our services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use our services.
